Comment 1: I'm giving this a point for its intended meaning, but it desperately needs a "her" in line 1. Without it, you have a couple being naughty on their first date (!) and fearing that Mama is going to catch them.
Comment 2: This would read more smoothly if the word "awake" was inserted after "lie".

Happy New Year 2012

Dear haiku friends you are invited to participate in The Caribbean Kigo Thirty First Kukai and first kukai for 2012
